Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local secondary school in Northumberland. This is a full time secondary teaching role, covering Design & Technology across Key stage 3, 4 and 5 which will commence ASAP for one term. Key Stage 5 Product Design and Resistant Materials teaching experience is essential when applying for this role. 

The role

The desired DT Teacher will be working in a large technology department, teaching pupils with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught Design Technology to Key Stage 5.

To be considered for the position of Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Have experience teaching secondary education at Key Stage 5 level.

Have experience teaching Product Design at Key Stage 5 Level.

Have experience Teaching Resistant Materials at Key Stage 5 level. 

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary Teachers.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
