About the role

Reporting to the Manager: Creative & Studio, The Production Coordinator contributes to creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate the SCS community. The Production Coordinator assists with the production of a range of quality resources to support all SCS with its marketing and communications needs.

Major Accountabilities

The Production Coordinator is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:

  • supporting the Communications and Marketing team with production and design, with a focus on coordinating media and assets required for production
  • coordinating end-to-end production timelines and deliverables for SCS campaigns from initial scope to onsite productions, including but not limited to schedule changes
  • managing all production schedules in an efficient and effective way to ensure a consistent workflow and timely delivery of campaigns
  • taking creative briefs and feedback, and being able to translate the vision, to ensure accurate delivery of content specifications
  • actively contributing to the planning of wider teams schedules with insights, lead times and other relevant information to effectively manage against production timelines
  • liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure production deadlines are met on time, and in full, including the delivery of final content
  • assisting with any post-production requirements such as overseeing edits and revisions on projects as required
  • promoting and implementing Sydney Catholic Schools’ mission To know and love Christ through learning and vision of Thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning
  • promoting and abiding by Sydney Catholic Schools’ values of empathy, curiosity, excellence, collaboration and truth
  • any other duties as directed from time to time.

The Person

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

  • degree qualification in arts, events management or related industry preferred
  • minimum of two years post-qualified experience
  • demonstrated ability to manage projects successfully and on time from concept to completion including managing resource allocations
  • demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • proven high attention to detail and creative flair
  • demonstrated high-level time management skills and ability to prioritise and juggle multiple deadlines
  • demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
  • demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • demonstrated high-level stakeholder management
  • a current driver’s licence
  • a valid Working With Children Check clearance (WWC) number
  • willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.
