Newcastle Aviation Academy require a dedicated and experienced person to take on the role of Programme Leader in Aerospace Engineering.
The main responsibility of this role is the formal delivery of aerospace engineering, further education, foundation and honours degree higher educational courses delivered by the Academy. These courses are highly regarded and cover all aspects of the aerospace engineering industry.
This post requires a strong aerospace engineering background and the candidate must have extensive knowledge and working experience of the aviation industry.
The candidate must be qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or equivalent in a relevant field, ideally qualified to masters degree level (Level 7) or be willing to work towards this. It is desirable that the candidate be qualified for and have experience of teaching in a higher educational setting.
An excellent team working ethos and solid communication skills are also essential. The hours of work will be flexible and may include evening and weekends according to demand. This is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to join a well-motivated, cohesive and highly performing team.
