Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Exeter College to train and teach our adult learners and apprentices within our digital and data curriculum team. Exeter College is an Ofsted outstanding college and consistently rated in the top 10 FE Colleges in the UK by NICDEX. The College is part of the South West Institute of Technology and is currently building a state of the art digital and data centre on its Hele Road campus.

Our curriculum team delivers a range of programmes for adults starting at level 2 (GCSE equivalent) through to level 6. We collectively specialise in Data Science, Digital Marketing, and Software Development – all of which are in high demand from students or employers. We are an expanding department and look forward to working with new colleagues as we grow. Courses we offer include accredited data and digital qualifications such as level 3 - 6 apprenticeships, technical and professional training qualifications, and also short courses to support career progression or career change such as the new Digital Bootcamps programme.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in delivering Statistics or Data courses. We welcome those with experience in developing skills in areas that would support data analytics, business statistics insights, e-commerce, marketing, cyber security, and digital productivity skills.

You will be joining Exeter College’s Professional and Adult Learning faculty, which is active in working with employers and the local community to deliver outstanding teaching, training and assessment. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, a good communicator and able to support an outstanding learning experience and qualifications and training to support career change and progression.
