An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspiring Programme Leader to join the Hairdressing & Barbering team to provide teaching across a range of Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing and Barbering qualifications.    

Working within the team you will be expected to provide excellent learning opportunities and demonstrate the relevant technical skills required in Hairdressing & Barbering for the students to achieve their full potential within this industry. Candidates will need to demonstrate relevant previous experience and must have the drive and determination to ensure that students succeed.

The faculty of Hospitality, Hair and Beauty is based at the Laurence Building at Hele Road and provides a specialist learning environment in commercial salons which encourages our learners to thrive. Working with a highly successful and creative team you will have the opportunity to share ideas and skills with experienced colleagues.

You will need to be an experienced hairdresser with current industry knowledge, exceptional cutting and styling skills and great interpersonal skills. You will also need to be qualified to Level 3 and have the flexibility to be able to work across a mix of age ranges including adult evening courses. 

You will be committed to teaching and learning whilst ensuring you deliver an exceptional experience for our learners and supporting them to achieve their full potential.


Candidates will need to demonstrate relevant previous experience and must have the drive and determination to ensure that students succeed.

The closing date for receipt of completed application is Tuesday 14th December 21.

Interviews will be held in Exeter on Thursday 6th January 2022.
