Bishop Burton College is experiencing sustained growth in its agricultural and land-based student numbers at both its East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire campuses as a result of its reputation for excellence in practical teaching and learning using state-of-the art facilities. The College has undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme in recent years and the College’s mixed farm has benefitted from substantial investment in the latest agri-tech equipment including precision farming technology.
The College’s new £25 million Showground Campus in Lincolnshire is now open and includes specialist facilities for the teaching of agriculture, environmental science, agricultural engineering and food technology.
We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking programme leader who has a passion for higher education and a strong desire to develop the skills and knowledge of the next generation of land-based technologists.
Working in partnership with major employers such as Agrii, ASDA and ABP Foods, the College is developing its curriculum and research base to meet the demands of the local and regional economy.
You will hold a relevant Degree (or the equivalent) and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). You will also be able to provide evidence of continuous professional development. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required to meet the needs of this challenging role.
If you are committed to agricultural and environmental education and you want to see your career develop with an organisation which continuously strives for excellence, then we would like to hear from you.
