Exeter College are seeking two talented individuals to join our Professional Studies team in the faculty of Construction; providing teaching, tutoring and the assessment of students. This professional and dynamic faculty achieves excellent success rates and is excited by the continual achievements it experiences. The Professional Studies department covers a diverse range of specialist subjects and we are looking for a candidate with a specialism in Civil Engineering and/or Construction and the Built Environment to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Civil Engineering or Construction and the Built Environment, have trade qualifications and experience in delivering teaching or training. Experience of the design and installation of ventilation and air conditioning, alongside the design, installation and principles of heating services is also desirable, though not essential.
The role focuses on the teaching and assessment of learners’ progress within the college or workplace, whilst demonstrating a professional approach to the planning and delivery of teaching and training. You will also tutor on both a group and one to one basis.
