We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring lecturer to join the Media Team, in the Faculty of Media and Performing Arts. The Faculty is based in the College’s Centre for Creative Industries which provides a specialist learning environment which includes our TV Studio, radio station and Media mac suites.  We work closely with industry partners and our learners and staff have unique training opportunities with the BBC who have a studio based on our site providing opportunities for our learners to thrive.  Working within a highly successful and creative team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and share resources and ideas with experienced colleagues and deliver on both Academic and Vocational programmes of study. The main area of delivery will be teaching and tutoring A Level Media Studies and we welcome applications from candidates who have experience in this area.    

You will be committed to teaching and learning and ensuring that you deliver an exceptional experience to our learners, helping them to achieve their full potential.  For the right candidate there is the potential to explore the Curriculum Area Manager role which involves managing and supporting members of the Media and Film Team; this will attract a higher salary to reflect these responsibilities.
