Salary: £40,219 - £41,604, incremental progression throughout the band is available.  

Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per Week: 1.0FTE | Location: Various – Community Education Venues

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Leader of Pre-advanced Mathematics and English for our Community Education provision. This will include all levels of Functional Skills and GCSE Qualifications. You will also have further cross-site responsibility for the coordination of quality assurance activity for our ESOL mathematics programme.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of well-developed leadership, communication and organisational skills and a commitment to providing an outstanding learning experience for the students in their care. They will have line management responsibility of a small team. They will also be an experienced and inspirational teacher with the ability to lead other teachers in creating an outstanding learning environment that delivers excellent outcomes for students. 

They will also demonstrate an understanding of the barriers to learning that our students may face as they undertake their learning journey at the college and a commitment to providing opportunities to support our students in their next steps.
