Job overview

This is an outstanding opportunity to become the Programme Manager for Plumpton College’s flourishing Animal Care courses. The successful applicant will develop, lead and teach on our City and Guilds and BTEC courses.

This is a pivotal role in which the successful candidate will manage all aspects of our programmes including timetabling, extracurricular activities and student experience. The successful candidate will deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and support students to maximise their potential and to make positive progress towards their timely success and future study and employment.

 The College has the support in place to ensure you develop your management and teaching skills, and you will be supported with excellent CPD and the opportunity to gain a teaching qualification in your first year in post.

The Team at Plumpton with major developments planned imminently for the Animal Centre in our beautiful rural setting. The developments will include an increase in our Animal collection with exciting native and exotic species being planned for. Your team will consist of a wide variety of experts from Education and the Animal sector, all contributing to the exciting future of the department. 

The successful candidate will also be need experience of working with and supporting SEND learners and the ability to lead the development of teaching, learning and assessment on the programme.
