This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence.

Great teachers make a difference and are fundamental for the success of our schools. We want to support and develop the next generation of teachers to ensure the very best outcomes for our young people. In this new role you will be the driving force in supporting highly effective initial teacher education at scale. Every trainee deserves a great training experience to sky rocket their career in teaching.

Our aim is to have trainees who will be inspired to have a successful career in teaching within AET.

You will be responsible for providing high level administrative support for the AET initial teacher education programme. You will support the Head of ITE and work collaboratively with our ITT provider, ensuring we meet the academic and pastoral needs of all trainees. Taking responsibility for key operational tasks you will contribute to the wider work of the ITE team enabling us to offer a high quality ITE experience for all trainees. This work will also underpin our wider strategic aims around achieving excellent  teaching across our schools.

Do you have previous experience of working within a SCITT/or other ITT or education institution?

If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you.

We offer:

More training and development, so you can get better at what you do.

More support for you and your loved ones - a health cash plan, lifestyle savings discounts, employee loans and savings scheme, and employee assistance programme.
