An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, energetic and innovative individual to take on a leadership role in our Maths department. If you have a passion for demonstrating the wonders of Maths to young people, and a commitment to work with all ages and abilities, we would like to hear from you.
You will be an outstanding practitioner with a past record of high performance linked to students’ learning, standards and progress. You must also have a belief in the ability of all students within the school to achieve their full potential. Moreover, you will need to demonstrate that you can inspire both staff and students.
This is a strategic post that offers opportunities to work with the Progress Leader to develop Maths provision at Hilbre, including shaping the curriculum so that students are motivated to fulfil and exceed their potential. There are lots of opportunities within this role to develop your professional profile and experiences. The exact roles and responsibilities of the post will be determined after the interview and depend upon the skillset of the successful candidate.
In June 2016 we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ in all areas. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment, which values talented, committed staff and offers excellent professional development opportunities. We are highly committed to managing teacher workload and offer a fortnightly home-based PPA session to all teaching staff.
