Calderdale College is looking to recruit a dedicated individual to work across the Science & Health Industries Department providing educational, tutorial and careers support and guidance to a case load of learners on Study programmes. The successful candidate will also ensure that the learners are positively engaged with their learning journey and are achieving their goals whilst enjoying their time at the College.

The appropriate applicant would ideally have experience of working with young people in an education or training setting, be adaptable and learner focused with a passion for vocational education.  This role requires someone who is a dynamic and innovative individual with the ability to influence and motivate students. Experience of coaching and/or supporting young people is preferable but more importantly is an understanding of the barriers they might face whilst at college.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Appointments are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
