The Pingle Academy lies at the heart of the National Forest area and is a co-educational Academy for students aged 11-18 years. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, which include extensive provision for sports, a well-equipped performing arts centre, a Learning Support Base, an Autism Resource Centre and a purpose built Sixth Form centre. From September 2018 the Maths Faculty will be housed in a brand new 10 classroom block with its own workspace, study room for students and Apple TV available in every room.
Our aim is to work with parents, carers and families to prepare children for their adult lives in a rapidly changing world. We are a truly inclusive Academy and share the responsibility for creating a safe and pleasant place to work. To be considered for this role you will need to be an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher with experience of pastoral care and accelerating progress. The Year group you will lead will be decided dependent on experience and skills. You will join a team of 4 other Progress Leaders.
