Job overview

We seek to appoint a Progress Mentor to work alongside a friendly, supportive and committed faculty.  A recruitment allowance may be available for suitable candidates.  

The successful candidate will support students to access the science curriculum in line with the code of practice, school policies and procedures. 

As a leading partner in the Billericay Teaching School Alliance, Billericay School is renowned for the high standards of CPD it delivers, as well as the collaborative and supportive ethos it promotes amongst staff.

The Progress Mentor role provides an excellent gateway to Teacher Training. The Billericay School works closely with the Billericay Education Consortium Secondary SCITT and thus we have significant expertise in readying prospective teachers for the profession.
