Progress Support Worker Apprentice

37 hours per week, (38.4 weeks per year)

Salary:  £10,000

Would you like to make a difference? Are you keen to work with young people and help them perform at their very best to ensure that they have excellent chances in life?

Progress Support Workers not only work side-by-side with SEND students in lessons to ensure they reach their full potential but also work in small groups or provide 1:1 support with carefully planned interventions.

We are seeking candidates who are interested in developing their skills in supporting students with additional needs and who are passionate about the value of education. 

Downham Market Academy is a dynamic, inspirational 11-18 academy. This is an exciting time to join our vibrant Academy with the expansion of our Trust, further planned improvements to our site and a new free school in pre-opening. There will be excellent opportunities for career development and progression including the chance to complete a level 3 teaching assistant qualification.

  • Downham Market is a market town set in beautiful Norfolk, with excellent fast train links to the cultural centres of both Cambridge (33 minutes) and London (1 hour 27 minutes).
