Responsible for the coordination and delivery of either the ESF Cornwall Health and Care Forum or the ESF Cornwall Hospitality Forum. The post holder will ensure successful delivery of business targets and outputs and operate in a way which is cost effective and promotes synergy with mainstream provision. Applicants should be highly motivated, have project coordination experience, understand the complexities of EU funding and be adept at building/developing relationships with external stakeholders and intermediaries. Knowledge of and experience of facilitating and developing programmes is essential along with either health and care or hospitality experience. 

Project Information:

Truro and Penwith College have a number of vacancies as a result of some recently funded European Social Fund (ESF) projects. Developed as part of the Priority Axis 2 ‘Skills for Businesses’ programme, these projects are a partnership between employers and the College, focused on filling skills gaps in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The ESF Cornwall Hospitality Forum project will work with micro and SME hospitality businesses to develop innovative programmes of education and training. Employers will be bought together through a central forum and an engaging events and activities programme, to create new hospitality courses and initiatives in partnership with Truro and Penwith College.

The ESF Excellence in Health and Care Group project will support micro and SME employers in the Health and Care sector to reassess their training needs and the relevance of current provision. Employers will work with the College to redesign the curriculum and test new ideas through a programme of pilot activities and events, helping to change the face of future training for the sector.
