We have a great opportunity for a qualified teacher with experience of delivering PSHE to join us in the new post of PSHE Co-ordinator. PSHE has been taught by form tutors but from September the PSHE Co-ordinator will teach much of it alongside a small team of staff from across the school.
As the PSHE Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring suitable programmes of study and resources are available to deliver the right PSHE curriculum for our students. You will be required to maintain up to date knowledge of the subject area and will be supported with access to relevant training to achieve this. We part-fund the employment of the schools’ police liaison officer and she is based on our site. She is an excellent resource for the delivery of PSHE who has brilliant local knowledge. This is quite a unique benefit that you will have as the PSHE Co-ordinator at Slough and Eton.
Slough and Eton is a great school on the outskirts of Slough, which serves the Chalvey community. Our new Headteacher joined us this September and we are relentlessly focused on ensuring great teaching, learning and experiences are at the core of what we do. It is an exciting time for us and our students are a pleasure to work with.
If you are interested in finding out more then please read the welcome letter from our Headteacher and feel free to visit the school in advance of applying.
We welcome applications from colleagues who may wish to be considered in a part-time/job share capacity and are happy to explore flexible working arrangements. We are, of course, committed to safeguarding the welfare of our students and staff and will conduct all necessary DBS checks as part of our recruitment process.
If you would like to contribute to our exciting future please visit our website at www.slougheton.com in the vacancy section for further details and application pack or contact our HR Advisor, Beverly Glanville for an application form firstname.lastname@example.org. CV’s alone will not be accepted as a valid application.
