London's leading College is looking for an exceptional Psychology and Criminology Teacher to join the Social Science team.

About the role:

We are looking for a Teacher of Social Sciences – Psychology, & Criminology to join our team at City and Islington Sixth Form College. Your primary responsibility will be to teach A Level student, be a Personal Tutor, and contribute to the varied teaching strategies and share good practice with members of the Social Science Department. City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre. We are situated on one site at Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. We have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students’ confidence and skills and this post makes a key contribution to that work.

About you:

You will hold an Honours Degree in either Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Social Science, or a related subject, have relevant experience in teaching these subjects to 16–19-year-olds at level 3. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be able to maintain, and have experience of professional and quality standards, and have good organisational skills.
