As William Perkin CofE High School enters an exciting time of growth, with our first sixth form intake starting in September 2018, we are seeking a Psychology teacher to join our KS5 development team. William Perkin, a SIAMS and Ofsted Outstanding school, prides itself on staff professional development. As a result, this is an ideal role for an enthusiastic teacher looking to develop their leadership and curriculum planning skills as they create the new A Level schemes of work. The successful candidate will have:
- A good degree and Qualified Teacher Status (or QTS pending)
- Ability to teach Psychology to A Level
- Ability to teach another subject at KS3
- Knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum

William Perkin CE High School, Greenford
William Perkin Church of England High School opened as a Free School in September 2013 with its first intake of Year 7 students, and now has five year groups (7 - 11) totalling almost 1,000 students. The school is founded on the successful systems and approaches of Twyford CE High School, with the principle difference that it is a distinctively Christian school with open admission criteria. The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted (June 2015) and SIAMS (October 2016) and is oversubscribed on first choice applicants. The Twyford Trust’s fourth school – Ada Lovelace CE High School – is due to open in temporary accommodation (on the William Perkin site) in September 2018.
