Food & Nutrition Technician

Part-time 27 hours per week x 39 weeks (term time) 

NJC Grade 3 pt range 5-6 (£21,591 – £21,981 pro rata) 

Grey Court is an oversubscribed, outstanding comprehensive school serving a very diverse community and situated on an excellent 20-acre site between Richmond Park and the River Thames. The school has been considered ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted since 2011.

We are looking to appoint a Food & Nutrition Technician as part of our successful Design & Technology department. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong organisational skills, a knowledge & interest in working with food and hygiene standards. Along with the ability to establish good interpersonal skills with staff and students, candidates should be familiar with the preparation of food and the cleaning of lesson resources for the department and in giving practical support in the classroom to teachers and students. No qualifications are necessary for this role.

It is essential that the candidate demonstrates an aptitude towards working and communicating with both young people and various levels of personnel. Candidates should have an enthusiastic attitude and a natural ability to use their initiative whilst being committed to the Every Child, Every Day academy trust.
