Salary: £16,850 - £19,536 (sessional 39 weeks)
Post 1: 30 hours (Monday - Friday) (2 Posts)
Post 2: 26.5 hours (Monday - Friday) (2 Posts)

Redhall is a special school for pupils of primary school age who's needs are primarily associated with learning disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder.  The maximum roll is 72 and pupils are in classes of up to 10.

The school management team consists of a Headteacher, Depute Headteacher, 1 Principal Teacher and Business Manager.  There is a large team of support staff of both Nursery Nurses and Pupil Support Assistants. 

A number of multi-agency staff work in the school supporting pupils and teachers which include Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist

Experience of working with children with complex additional support needs is desirable.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
