You will encourage the social and emotional development of children, using positive approaches that help them build relationships and self-esteem.

Our Pupil Support Workers play an important part in the development of pupils, offering support and stability in the classroom, on external educational visits and during recreational time. Ultimately you will contribute to the personal, academic, social and behavioural development of children, improving their ability to cope in everyday situations and manage the transition from school to college or work environments.

Who we are looking for?

Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
