We are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly and supportive finance team 

This role will be based at our Head Office is based in Claygate which has fantastic facilities including gym, swimming pool, tennis court, pitch and putt golf and a large canteen. 

The ideal candidate should be genuinely interested in finance and be adaptable and enthusiastic. General administration, experience of working in a finance department and experience as a purchase ledger clerk are essential. 

Working hours:   the position is for 52 weeks and ideally 36 hours per week, but there is flexibility to offer fewer hours per week  

The candidate will be expected to support the GLF finance team with administrative tasks as and when required and be a key contact for finance queries from suppliers and staff. This role requires experience with working with an accounting package including reconciliation of supplier statements to processing invoices for all schools within the GLF group. 

Attention to detail and a friendly and professional manner are key requirements, as is the ability to work to deadlines. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in administrative and financial duties, efficient and accurate with a good telephone manner, able to organise and prioritise their own workload and an effective communicator who is able to work as part of a team.

Full training will be provided on our accounts package, PS Financials.
