Job overview
Beaudesert Park School is a highly successful independent school for boys and girls aged from 3 – 13, located on Minchinhampton Common, Gloucestershire.
Due to retirement, a rare opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dedicated Bursary team.
The postholder will report to the Finance Director and will play a key part in supporting the day to day school finance operation. The role is primarily focused on ordering goods, maintaining supplier data, processing supplier payments and maintaining accounting records.
We are seeking applicants with previous Purchase Ledger experience, ideally gained within schools. The successful candidate must be a proactive self-starter who maintains high levels of accuracy even under pressure.
The role is office-based for up to 30 hours per week working all year round, although we may consider slightly fewer hours for the right candidate. The weekly work pattern is open to negotiation.
