Rome International School is looking to appoint a positive and inspirational PYP coordinator with an expert knowledge of the PYP curriculum framework to join the senior leadership team.
Together with the Elementary Principal, the PYP coordinator will provide
pedagogical leadership and coordination of the PYP within the school. The
candidate will be responsible for the application and continous development and
enrichment of the programme. RIS is an authorized PYP School since 2012.
The PYP coordinator will be expected to work collaboratively with all members of
the teaching team and be involved in whole-school planning, as well as
in-school and out-of-school professional development. The PYP coordination will
have experience in evaluation visits.
Promoting the IB ethos and ensuring quality of inquiry-based learning and teaching will
be paramount for the role.
This position will suit flexible, enthusiastic, international and well-qualified candidates who educate students at all ability levels to become inquisitive, enterprising and independent learners.
RIS is an IB World School. The school is in a pleasant area of north-west Rome. The campus is set amongst almost four hectares and has been designed to meet every teaching and learning requirement.
