When people visit Duncombe, one of the first things they comment upon is the happy and purposeful atmosphere. Children can join Treetops, the Early Years department, from the age of two but admission is possible at any stage, subject to the availablilty of a place.  In Treetops the joy of learning is discovered through a wide variety of both planned and free-play experiences in a safe and relaxed environment. Attendance may be full or part-time until the Reception year, after which the children progress seamlessly to the Main School.

Classes are small throughout Duncombe, ensuring that each child's pastoral and educational needs are addressed. The school has an outstanding record of academic achievement but sees its role of helping pupils develop qualities such as confidence and consideration for others as equally important. Opportunities in sport, music and the arts are pursued enthusiastically and the breakfast club and after school activity programme are very popular.

Duncombe provides children with an all-round education of the highest quality and a firm foundation for a happy and fulfilling life. Personal visits are warmly welcomed - please contact the School Office to arrange an appointment.
