Quality Leads / Team Leaders to support COVID Mass testing in schools 

Play your part in supporting your local school community and keep young people safe. Harris Federation is recruiting to several positions to join the COVID-19 Mass Testing Response Teams across our academy testing sites in and around London. 

Following the Department of Education’s announcement, we are in urgent need of Quality Leads/Team Leaders to support our schools in mandatory mass testing. 

As a Quality Lead/Team Leader, you will be accountable for all operations on the testing site, including go/no-go decisions, and for ensuring testing is conducted in a compliant manner. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall delivery and escalations
  • Managing the safe and effective running of the test site
  • Ensuring test kits are stored in a clinically safe manner
  • Managing device updates 
  • Supervising the end-to-end testing process and ensuring compliance with the SOP and appropriate regulations
  • Reviewing test staff planning including rota, cross coverage and leave plans
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidance is appropriately followed

What we are looking for:

  • Experience and gravitas to lead multi-faceted teams in a fast-changing environment
  • Background in a clinical, medical or lab setting
  • A problem solver with the ability to be decisive
  • Good communication and management skills
  • Experience in virology, infectious diseases, clinical audits and quality management systems

You will be required to work Monday to Friday on shifts between 7am and 5pm.
