We believe that the benefits of working within the Trust and the extra capacity that this will bring will be hugely beneficial to us as we look to further develop the Academy at pace in the coming months and years.

The core values that underpin our work are excellence, perseverance, respect and care. This ethos is shared by everyone who works at the Academy and one of the key things that you will notice when you visit the school is the way in which we put people first. The progress and attainment of our students is paramount but we encourage our young people to achieve within a supportive learning environment. The positive relationships between our students, staff and families are perhaps what set us apart and these relationships form the basis of our continued improvement towards becoming an outstanding school.

We believe that every student in Axminster and its surrounding villages deserves a fantastic local education, with great teaching in every lesson, in every subject, every day. If you think that you have what it takes to join our team of hard-working and committed professionals, we look forward to welcoming you to the Academy.
