Job overview
We are looking to appoint an experienced practitioner to become our Raising Standards Leader in Mathematics. Our high performing Mathematics department has consistently delivered excellent results for our students in recent years. Leading our team of intervention specialists, the work of the Raising Standards Leader in Mathematics will build on the success of the department by:
- designing bespoke intervention programmes for groups of our more vulnerable students.
- delivering high quality intervention sessions for groups of students who are not making the progress expected of them.
- liaising with department colleagues to assess and measure the impact of intervention on progress.
- collaborating with department colleagues to ensure that Quality First Teaching minimises the need for a wider intervention programme.
- assisting the Head of Department to deliver improvement strategies as directed.
