Smart Teachers is recruiting for a dedicated RE Teacher to support teaching and learning in the London Borough of Hackney. The ideal RE Teacher will be able to deliver RE up to KS4. The role is full time and available from January 2019. The popular and most recently rated “Good” school have small class sizes with a strong SLT to drive all standards forward. The school follows the AQA programme so knowledge of this exam board is desirable although not essential.

In order to be considered for this role, the successful RE Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

· Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS

· Have strong behaviour management skills

· Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
