Are you looking for a flexible role that provides full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team?
Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff.
We are recruiting a number of Reader-Scribes to join our Inclusion team. During examinations you will read and/or scribe for students taking internal and external examinations, in accordance the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Regulations. Full training will be provided.
Hours are on a casual, as and when required basis throughout the academic year. Shifts will vary (from minimum 2 hours to all day) but you will need to be able to start work at 8am. The role is to work at both Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy.

About New Rickstones Academy
New Rickstones Academy is a secondary school based in Witham. This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy as we continue to expand. Over the last 8 years, student numbers have more than doubled, leading to oversubscription and the addition of a new building in September 2022 to accommodate the growing demand.
We maintained our 'Good' OFSTED rating in 2023. Whilst learning is our core aim, mutual respect and fantastic working relationships between students and staff is what makes New Rickstones Academy what it is.
