We are seeking an enthusiastic person to coordinate our reading and research in the school. This involves the organisation of our library resources for staff and students, ensuring the library is central for learning and study. The successful candidate would coordinate reading development programmes (eg Accelerated Reader), working directly with students and liaising with staff, to ensure students are successfully engaging and reading ages are improving. The role will also involve liaising with the staff CPD lead, Faculties and all teams to ensure research is identified and resources are available to develop our evidence-led teaching and learning approach, and to support curriculum developments. This role would involve purchasing book stock and maintaining the upkeep of our existing stock. This is an exciting opportunity and we welcome applications from people with good communication skills and a desire to bring about improvements in literacy through reading for all of our students.
