Job overview

ABC Teachers are working in close partnership with a popular primary school in Edgbaston, Birmingham for a part time reception class teacher. The position will be a 0.8 contract which will be on a job-share basis, starting in January 2020. 

The school itself is a highly regarded primary which boasts excellent academic results across all year groups and the pupils here are well behaved and keen to learn. The school has a supportive leadership team which promotes togetherness and equality and aims to provide all pupils with good life skills from an early age. 

The successful candidate must be a pro-active and adaptable teacher who can quickly build professional relationships. You will act as a positive role model to all and you will have high expectations of yourself and your class. You must also demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge and have the highest regard for health and safety, and safeguarding procedures. 

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Reception Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Be a reliable, organised and honest individual

• Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
