Early Years teacher needed for a reception class in Belper. The role will comprise of a 3 day week in a reception class of around 25 children. The role is available due to a recent retirement within the school so they are looking for someone to take on the role on a temporary basis, however it may result in the school offering the full time role to a candidate who meets their standards. The school are looking for a teacher who works hard for themselves and the children, who can encourage their social skills and understand their inquisitive nature as they are so young.
The school has a focus on preparing their early years children for the change into key stage 1 and implement a rigorous safeguarding scheme from the beginning of their academic careers. The school ask that all of their Reception staff are friendly, caring and have positive attitudes. Their facilities within the reception class are very modern as they have recently made an investment into the building that houses the class.
The school is located to the west of the Belper area which makes it viable for people living in Matlock, Alfreton and Ashbourne areas, as well as any candidates that reside in the city of Derby.
The school do ask that anyone who applies for this role must have relevant experience in a similar role as well as holding qualified teacher status.
