Wetherby Kensington is currently looking for career minded and enthusiastic Early Years teacher to join our team from September 2018.

The Role 

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal efficacy independently and as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team.

Experience of teaching in a Reception / EYFS setting is advantageous, as is knowledge and experience of using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and in monitoring and observing children in accordance with EYFS guidelines. Specific training in the teaching of phonics and in implementing the EYFS curriculum is desirable but not essential.

The School 

Wetherby Kensington is a two form, non-selective, pre-preparatory school for boys from Reception to Year 3. It will follow exactly the same curriculum and share the same values and ethos as Wetherby School and will be an integral part of the Wetherby Group of schools. Boys at Wetherby Kensington will receive very high levels of academic education and pastoral care. Wetherby Kensington is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.

Salary

The Alpha Plus Group has its own salary scale, which is above the Central London Maintained Scale. A salary at the appropriate point on the Teachers’ Scale will be offered to the successful candidate and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
