The British International School of Casablanca is a new all through school located just outside the thriving, bustling financial and business centre of Morocco. We offer an outstanding international education by delivering a curriculum that is inspired by the international programme developed by CIE and the respective national curricula of Morocco and the United Kingdom. We opened our Primary School in September 2017 and in September 2018 we will open our Secondary School. Over the next few years the school expects numbers to steadily grow to 1200 students from EYFS up to Year 13. Students will be prepared for IGCSE and A level examinations. The facilities at the school are excellent and include purpose built classrooms, a theatre, an indoor swimming pool, two sports halls and a three-floor library.

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers with a positive mindset who will thrive on the challenges and rewards provided by developing a new school and who will enjoy the rich cultural experience that living in Morocco will provide. Contract type: Full Time (2-year renewable)

Salary: Highly competitive paid in local currency tax fee.

About British International School Casablanca

The British International School of Casablanca (commonly abbreviated to BISC) is located in the city of Casablanca, Morocco. The school occupies a 4.2-acre site in the city, and is able to boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, including a semi-olympic swimming pool, an open-air theatre, an amphitheater, numerous modern classrooms and Science labs and sports fields. The school itself has a capacity for around 1500 students in a co-educational setting. As a British school, BISC follows the Cambridge curriculum, with students being organised by key stages, starting at Early Years Foundation Stage at age 3 and going up to age 18 in Key Stage 5. The school offers iGCSE programmes and the A level with numerous subject choices available for students. Moreover, the school also has a number of more specialised subjects, such as Arabic, Mandarin, Drama, Music as well as a keen focus on Moroccan culture and history. BISC is oriented toward excellence and academic results, in addition to a strong sense for pupils' well being, fulfillment. 

Teaching Information

Teachers at BISC are expected to have extensive experience of teaching in British Schools with high standards.  Teachers are expected to work in an independent school type dynamic and enjoy teaching in a very pleasant working environment. Teachers participate in an active timetable including a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
