Reception Teacher

We are looking for an outstanding EYFS teacher to join our inspirational Reception team. At Hill House we believe that every child’s mind is a fire to be kindled and as such we follow children’s unique interests in a rich play-based environment. We are looking for a teacher who shares our passion for play, who is energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring all children have the best start to their education. The successful candidate will join a supportive and reflective team who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired teacher must have experience of working within the EYFS and be skilled in supporting pupils’ learning through challenging play experiences. 

We offer small class sizes of 12 pupils, ongoing EYFS focused CPD and delicious school lunches. Visits to the school are encouraged.

Hill House is a thriving co-ed independent preparatory school for over 600 children, which offers great opportunities for its pupils. The school is forward-thinking yet traditional with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation.

It was founded in Switzerland in 1949 and opened in London in 1951. Hill House became the first school to teach in two different countries at the same time with the same children. The school still has an annex in Switzerland, which hosts specialist courses throughout the year.
