Receptionist/Admin Officer 

37 hours per week 

Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3.30pm 

Term time plus one week

We are seeking to appoint a receptionist/admin officer to work within our busy school office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, forward thinking school. The successful candidate will be hard working, flexible and will enjoy working collaboratively in a friendly and supportive environment where the goal is to secure the best possible outcomes for student. 

As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, pupils and members of staff, you will be experienced and confident in delivering a high level of customer service.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach and a high standard of presentation.  

You will have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment, excellent written and oral communications skills and proficient in all Microsoft office programmes.  The role would suit an enthusiastic individual who is able to multi-task, willing to learn and develop, and who is flexible and adaptable in their approach. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for students, staff, parents and the wider school community.

Alderwood School is an ‘all through’ school on the outskirts of Aldershot split across 3 sites with approximately 590 pupils on our Senior site. We are a 5/6 form entry school in North Hampshire with delightful, energetic children who thrive in our School environment.
