The Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust is responsible for nine schools across Hull; two secondary and seven primary. A Thrive school is one that is a dynamic community of staff, pupils and their families all focussed on one thing - inspiring pupils to thrive in life.

Oldfleet Primary School is based in Hull and part of Thrive Trust. We are a two form entry primary school, with a capacity of approximately 385 pupils aged 3 to 11 years.

Oldfleet Primary School is seeking to appoint a Receptionist / Admin Assistant who is confident, friendly and committed to establishing effective working relationships with our families, children and school community.  As the first point of contact in the school we require a professional, warm and positive response to face to face, telephone and email queries. You will need to work effectively with a range of team members across the school referring matters on as necessary to the appropriate team members. In line with safeguarding requirements you will sign in visitors ensuring the relevant documents have been checked and recorded.

The role of the receptionist is varied and no two days in school life are the same. The successful candidate will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the requirements of the role.

Relevant experience of working in a school would be useful but training will be given as required.

Closing Date:  Monday 5th December 2022, 9am

Interviews:  Thursday 8th December 2022

As part of Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust commitment to safer recruitment processes and in accordance with statutory guidance: Keeping Children Safe in Education (2022) an online search will be carried out on all shortlisted candidates.

Please note, we do not accept CVs, applications must be submitted using our application form.

Our commitment to Safeguarding: Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Each school has a robust Safeguarding Policy and all staff receive training relevant to their role at induction and throughout their employment.
