Bridgwater College Academy is an independent but wholly Government funded school for 3 to 16 year olds in Bridgwater.

14.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days). 

One year fixed term contract

Working Hours: Mon to Thurs – 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Fri – 1:00pm to 3:30pm 

This role involves ensuring all callers and visitors to the Academy are provided with an efficient and effective service, being the primary contact between the Academy and the community. This role will also involve some basic administrative duties.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills, dealing with members of the public in a friendly and professional manner.

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
