Myddelton College are seeking to appoint a friendly and resourceful Receptionist / Administrator who is well presented and articulate. The role is to support our School Secretary and to be a friendly face for a front of house role in our reception area.
The role would suit someone who has strong secretarial skills and shares a commitment to excellent customer service. The successful candidate will need to be able to deal with a variety of enquiries via email, over the phone or in person from parents, students, staff and prospective parents whilst also working in a fast paced school office environment. An ability to multi task is essential!
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring pupil attendance, dealing with all incoming and outgoing post and being the first friendly face that many of our visitors see or speak with. They will also be expected to administer basic first aid to both students and staff. If no qualification is held a willingness to attend a training course would be an expectation.
The successful candidate will need to be proficient in the use of a computer and it would be advantageous if you have experience of working with Office 365 software.
We have a committed and happy team of staff at Myddelton and we except all new appointments to play a full part in this busy and growing international boarding school.
· This is an all year role, including school holidays
· 37.5 Hours per week
· Monday to Friday
· We would consider a PT position of 4 days a week or a PT position as part of a job share
· There will be occasions where you will be required to be flexible in order to assist at parents evenings and open day events
