Salford’s Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our new and friendly office team as a Receptionist and Communications lead.

As the receptionist, you will have the day to day reception duties, as well as various administrative tasks. 

With the communications lead aspect, you will have the responsibility of PR, website updates and maintenance as well as other liaison with the PTA, parents, staff and PTA as necessary. 

The individual will be highly organised, with good literacy skills and have a proactive approach, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, integrity and respect in relation to confidentiality in all matters relating to the school. They will also have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise work as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 

Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience as a receptionist carrying out administrative tasks. 

The successful candidate will also provide administrative support for the entire school, undertaking tasks, which require some generalist knowledge and skills, as well as assisting the office team to ensure a smooth running office.

GCSE Maths and English are essential. 

Pupil Asset experience would be an advantage.

Hours: 8:30am-11:30am, Mon-Fri

Although this role is initially for 3 hours a day, there is scope for the right candidate to grow into this role and increase these hours.
