Moordown St John's CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a Receptionist on a permanent contract of 37 hours per week, term time plus INSET days from 1 September 2019 (8am - 3.45/4.00pm with half an hour for lunch)

We are looking for a friendly and approachable person with excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills to join our busy school office team and contribute to the ethos of our popular primary school.

If you have experience of working in an office (preferably within a school environment), are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and are able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

Key tasks will include: 

* providing reception, telephone, email and text messaging services 

* liaising with pupils, parents/carers, staff, directors, visitors and other stakeholders     

* providing administrative and secretarial functions across the school

* providing first aid as required (training provided)

* respecting confidentiality
