Glebe School is an outstanding secondary special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs, including autistic spectrum disorders.  

We are looking to recruit a front-of-house Receptionist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in welcoming visitors to our school, whilst having safeguarding our school community at the forefront of what they do. The receptionist will be part of the business team, ensuring reception function (including diary management) runs smoothly on a day to day basis. There are very busy periods where you will need to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks and deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.

The salary for this role is: NJC Scale 3, points 4-6   £22,179 - £22,983 FTE (actual starting salary £17,806). You will work from 8am to 4pm, term time only. Support staff have a 39 weeks per year contract, with the hours worked over 38 weeks.  

Staff must attend occasional INSET training on Tuesdays/Thursdays after school (dates known in advance), to make up a 39-week term time only contract; worked over 38 weeks to allow for a two- week autumn half term.
