Term Time plus two weeks 

Hartsdown Academy is looking to appoint an afternoon receptionist to work on their busy reception desk to provide an efficient reception service to support the smooth operation of the school.   

The ideal candidate will have proven administration experience, ideally having previously worked as a receptionist or in a customer service role.  

Applicants must have the ability to provide a high level of customer service and be able to deal calmly, tactfully and effectively with students, staff and visitors.  

Working hours will be 22.5 hours per week 12.15pm to 4.45pm term time and two weeks during the summer holiday from 9.30am to 2pm

Hartsdown forms part of EKLA (East Kent Learning Alliance) from which we achieved Teaching School Status and we hold regular training sessions both within our own academy as well as across Kent sharing good practice, this is certainly seen with our ‘Open Door Policy’ which is evident when you walk around our academy of the good learning and practice which is taking place.  Hartsdown is also part of the Coastal Academies Trust (CAT) which is is a group of schools in the Thanet area that have joined together as a company to provide an excellent education for young people in this area.
