Hours: 40 hours per week (term time only)

We are seeking a receptionist for Unsted Park School, a specialist residential and day school/6th form college for children and young people with high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

The focus of the whole school approach is in three core areas: education, independence and inclusion. Based on these core areas we provide individual, child-centred programmes which recognise individual abilities and strengths and help students to reach their full potential. 

Duties include:

  • Greeting and assisting all arrivals promptly at the school and ensuring that they are treated in a courteous, pleasant and efficient manner and directed accordingly
  • Ensuring that all telephone calls into main reception / switchboard are dealt with promptly and efficiently within Priory operational standards
  • Carry out administrative tasks as required
  • Distributing the appropriate security passes, as well as directing the visitor to the appropriate areas or individuals within the unit
  • Providing maintenance of the reception and waiting area environments to high standards and ensuring that any housekeeping or maintenance issues are reported to the appropriate teams.


The successful candidate will deliver an efficient and high quality reception service, creating a first class impression for service users and all other visitors that would be expected with Priory Group’s esteemed reputation. Greeting and assisting all arrivals promptly and directing as appropriate, you will also ensure that all telephone calls into main reception are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
