Receptionist

Taunton School was founded in 1847. It is an independent day and boarding school with approximately 1,150 pupils, aged from 0 - 18 years, with circa 400 boarders. We aim to challenge, nurture and inspire young people to succeed in a global community.  

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, approachable and well-organised person to the position of Receptionist. This front of house role will include receiving visitors, processing incoming telephone calls, dealing with general enquiries and providing administrative assistance. A positive and professional outlook is essential in this role as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the first point of contact for the School. You will also have well-developed ICT skills.

The hours for this role are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 1.00 to 5.45 p.m. and Tuesday from 12.30 – 5.45 p.m. plus 10 Saturdays from 08.10 – 1.00 p.m. on a rota basis.
