This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a key role supporting the HR team at St. Edward’s.
This is a hands-on, varied role with the primary purpose of supporting the end-to-end staff recruitment process at the School, ensuring that vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
The role holder will also be involved in strategic and operational HR and recruitment projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with recruitment activities for all staff, ensuring compliance with the principles of safer recruitment practices
- Drafting job descriptions, people specifications and advertisements for all support staff
- Ensuring that applicants receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service
- Conducting ‘Right to work in the UK’ checks for all shortlisted support staff applicants
- Carrying out all pre-employment checks for successful support staff
- Maintaining staff records
Previous experience within a busy administrative role is essential, as is excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and an understanding of databases and GDPR.
