We are seeking a Recruitment Manager to join our team at The Danes Educational Trust based at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood on the Herts/Bucks border.

We would like you to have:

• A passion for recruitment and promoting the organisation as an employer of choice

• Previous HR experience which includes experience in a fast paced, proactive recruitment role

• Experience of using recruitment databases, Microsoft Office software and social media platforms

• A confident and assertive approach

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Good level of numeracy

• Ability to be discreet and maintain high levels of confidentiality

• Ability to work autonomously, coping with fixed deadlines and working under pressure at times

• Ability to be a team player working effectively with a variety of colleagues across the Trust

• Knowledge of legislation that applies to recruitment and selection

• Previous HR experience within a school environment (desirable but not essential)

• Previous experience within a multi-site environment (desirable but not essential)

• Knowledge of school pre-employment safeguarding procedures (desirable but not essential)

• A CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential)

• Experience of using Adobe packages (such as InDesign) for creating marketing materials, or a willingness to learn (desirable but not essential)

This role sits within the Central Services Team of the Danes Educational Trust but may involve some travel to other schools within the Trust. St Clement Danes School, an Outstanding school, recently awarded 'World Class' status and Croxley Danes School, a new secondary school which opened in September 2017 and is based in Watford, moving to Croxley Green in 2020, are already part of the Danes Educational Trust. Two further secondary schools, Onslow St Audrey’s in Hatfield and Chancellor’s near Potters Bar are due to join on 1st July 2019.
